of usernames

i guess i was just flopping about, angsting over usernames. that's the most difficult part in making an online journal. would anyone believe someone even got my real name for a username? if you knew my real name you would be more surprised than i was when i saw the phrase "username has been taken."

usernames. you're supposed to find a name that defines you, best describes you, or something they can label you with that's unique and all that poetry bullcrap.

the poetry bullcrap got me. i chose a phrase from joni mitchell's "woodstock" just because i like her lyrics. so there.

why did i make a new one? because i can. *snickerbikiniopensnicker*

i like new things. *shrug*

i feel accomplished making a new journal with a shiny new username. next up, maintaining it. *slides a glance over to old journal and laughs*

will come up with something that remotely passes for a format later.

saw slaves's layout and immediately joined _premadelayouts. *lol*

i've chosen "Dear ElJay, Today Was Hell" by bella_anitragrl for my layout. it's simple and black and pretty cute. XD

the lj bar on top gets covered up by the format, though. hmm. what to do.

but damn, most of my friends aren't posting anymore! do i have to call each and every one of you at home for you to add me in your friends list? pif.

and to think i haven't seen most of my friends for about a year. think of the cardiovascular accident they might have when they hear from me. piiiif.
